Allyship is a relationship between an ally and their partner, working together toward the shared goal of diversity, equity, inclusion and social justice. The word ally to be a verb. It’s not who someone is, but what they do. The Outcast Collective Introduction to Allyship program is a two-hour interactive session to explore the meaning of the term ally and identify actionable first steps that employees can take to be a more active and visible ally. This course is for anyone who is willing and wants to be allies and partners with allies to advance diversity and inclusion efforts at their workplaces. It is also for leaders and HR professionals who want to create an allyship program within their organization and champion the cause.
